Types of Delta Dealers

Home Center / Hardware

Home Center/Hardware stores offer the benefit of accessibility with numerous locations nationwide, in large cities and small towns. This group includes many variations including "Big Box" and local hardware stores. They often offer more hours at your convenience. The selection of kitchen and bath products in stock for immediate purchase can be quite extensive for some of the larger stores, with most major brands represented. Smaller stores may have limited selections, generally stocking and displaying only the fastest selling products and finishes; however most will special order numerous items they do not stock. If needed, installation can usually be arranged for an additional charge. Since there are a wide variety of faucets available, at varying levels of quality, it is best to research your purchase in advance and be aware of the differences in quality faucet construction, operation, and warranty.

Showroom

Within this group there are many variations including very large retail showrooms, plumbing wholesale showrooms, independent kitchen & bath showrooms, and plumbing showrooms. Showrooms are generally always open to consumers. In nearly all showrooms you will find consultants who specialize in providing individualized assistance with entire room design, including a complete bath or kitchen remodeling project. Showrooms often have vignettes to give design ideas and demonstrate how the products look and feel in a live environment. Their personnel will be highly knowledgeable about kitchen and bath design as well as plumbing and faucets, including some products they may not sell. They will be well suited to help you choose the right product and find an independent installer or contractor if needed. Additionally, because of the focus on design, there will be a greater selection of specialized or unique faucets at a showroom than you will find at other outlets. The normal hours of operation may be more limited than Retail, but may include evenings and weekends with appointments arranged at your convenience.

Wholesaler

Wholesalers primarily sell to members of the trade, but may also sell to consumers. The hours of operation are generally, but not always shorter than retail. You should always contact them before visiting to determine their hours and policies. The selection of kitchen and bath products available can be quite extensive, with nearly every faucet produced by their manufacturers available, including some more unique styles and finishes. You may find some more specialized products, like custom shower components and bidets, offered to the trade through the wholesale distributor. The price and quality of products can range from basic to high-end luxury faucets. Because of the vast array of faucets available, it is a great idea to do research ahead of time, either online, or via product literature and know what features you are looking for.

Premier Dealers

Premier Dealers are an excellent choice to purchase Delta Faucets due to their commitment to both display and stock a significant number and variety of Delta Branded products for sale to consumers through a showroom. Premier Dealers will typically have access to a greater number of Delta Brand products through special order and usually dedicate a significant portion of their business towards the sale or installation of faucets and related products.

Authorized Dealers

Authorized Dealers are required to stock Delta Branded products and sell them to consumers via some variation of a consumer showroom. They will have some Delta Brand products on display, and typically will have access to a large number of Delta Brand products through special order. The number of products stocked or displayed by an Authorized Dealer will typically be fewer than found in a Premier Dealer.
